I'm assuming most of you have been through an AI exam, right?

Okay, so the next question is about the AI side.

It's going to be exactly like that.

You can bring your security blanket, something to eat and drink,

so that you actually can do the 90 minutes

and a brain full of AI too, and nothing else.

No pocket calculators, and all of those things, you're not going to need them.

It's going to be 90 minutes, probably in all four of these lecture halls, or maybe only three.

It's not going to be, I hope, on October 6th,

because my whole group is in Brazil on a conference then, and so we don't know how to proctor.

So we're hoping it's 25th of September, 26th, something like this.

The problem with this is that the person who organizes all of these things

is in hospital and will probably be in hospital, or has the current prognosis, he's back on the 28th.

Which means we're not going to know before that, which is extremely annoying,

especially since he promised to move the two exams a month ago, but then he didn't officially.

So we'll somehow deal with the situation.

So please prepare for both possible dates.

I do not know what's going to happen.

We'll do our best to have it in a place where we can actually answer questions.

It wouldn't be a problem if we had somebody else to watch you not cheat.

Anybody can do this.

But if you have questions, I want to be there to answer them,

or at least have one of my people who know what they're talking about.

This is why we want the earlier date.

I apologize, but there's nothing I can do.

Oh yes, and thanks for doing the evaluation, all 16 of you, out of 300 and something.

People were complaining about too little time in the quizzes.

That's something I want, since it's kind of an open Internet and open talk to your friends kind of quiz.

Giving a lot of time is counterproductive to having it be predictive.

So I don't see any other way I can't control.

I don't want to force everybody to be here.

That would be kind of the other way of doing it.

And I don't think that's worth it.

And of course, time pressure is something that's going to be there in the exam as well.

And threatening time pressure is good for learning.

So that's the rationale.

Some people complain of the slides being too full.

That's also something that's intended.

I want you to have at least some overview.

There's always a trade-off between having full slides and not seeing the stuff you're supposed to see.

And I think most people obviously have under-complex thoughts they bring to their slides, so they don't need that.

They can have very empty slides. That's very elegant and great.

Unfortunately, AI too is more complex.

So you need to somehow be able to combine this information with that information.

And I do not see any other way than just putting it both on the same slide where you can see it.

We could probably do something very complex.
